It seems strange to me that this guy doesnt know his (small) town very well…he is not sure if the 8 foot cement wall goes all the way around the town or not, and he didnt even know where the alley right outside his own apartment building lead to…for a guy that like to go camping- which means he has to have somewhat of an explorers spirit-he sure takes his everyday surroundings for granted…I live in Los Angeles and know a good large portion of the city (alleys included) by heart. If I lived in a town as obviosly minute as Oasis I’d know the whole town whithin a few weeks of moving there. I guess that that is the difference between a graffiti artist and a nurse. But anyway…the story is still kicking ass!!

I’m not sure exactly how many chapters it’s going to take. In my full copy of the story there are currently 23,395 words in Oasis. I’m shooting for a minimum of 50,000 to make it a decent novella length and maybe more depending on how much punishment I feel like heaping upon poor Corbin. My goal is to have it done by the end of the year, though.
