Happy Birthday to the little one!

And I hope your wife is feeling better after her surgery and that you're completely over the stomach flu! Goodness, what a rough few weeks you've had!

Everything you write, from journal and diary entries to novels, strengthen your ability to see and identify ways to express things your mind's eye shows you. The editing process can turn into a never-ending one because, as we go along, we're getting better, and realize we've improve this part of the book more than that one, and go back, and when we reach where we've left off, we find we're better still at finding problems or making improvements ... and on it goes. Eventually, though, we put the red pen down and say "Finished".

... Until the agent or editor says, "I need you to make a couple of changes ...".

Hope you're all doing well.
