You're not a slacker! Everyone's entitled to take a break once in a while. You just write too good a story & everyone's eager for more!

Also, I forgot to mention, I absolutly loved the named baseball bats in Oasis! That was too perfect that Beth did that at the end. I was not expecting it and it brought a chuckle to my lips during what was otherwise a very stressful scene. Come on, Chapter 34!

Sure, I was just curious...I really like that the women that are forefront in these stories are not cream-puffs. I mean, yeah they have their weaknesses, but they all have core of strength that the situation tends to pull out of them. It is nice to see that in a supporting female character.

Stressful situations tend to strengthen emotions and...other things...so I think that it is perfectly normal for Corbin to have a growing attraction to London already. He is young, available, and stressed, and so is she.

Beth stayed with her injured dad back at the base. Who knows if we'll ever see her again... According to her note, she did have feelings for Corbin. And sure he was attracted to Beth. But nothing had a chance to really happen (did they ever even kiss- I can't remember...) and now Corbin's been thrown into a new fray.

Thanks for reading & saying hi.

In the past two days, I have read all of Oasis and all that you have written of St. Laurent. I love the online serial format and am really excited be reading along as you write. Here is one question that has been burning in my mind...what happened to Beth? I though Corbin was in love with her, and now she is gone and he has moved on to London? Unless I am wrong, it has not been THAT long since the events in Oasis....other than that, great job and keep it up!

I have to agree, when you think about it. You have just had an attempt to steal the vials, you would want to keep it as secure and as near to you as possible. In the absence of a steel briefcase handcuffed to your person I reakon a velcro pocket is as good as any, I mean come on guy it isn't as if he shoved it in a bodily cavity for safekeeping! Sure there is an increased risk and sure Bryce has "poetic license" but still, what reader would believe that Corbs suddenly stumbled upon a pocket sized aircraft black box? Personally I would probably stop reading if things got that god damned riddiculous!

On a happier note:
Bryce I love how this has developed and that it is becoming apparent that Corbin can't even trust those that seem to want to fight with him. Seems much like a real life end of the world scenario, the only person you can truly trust is yourself. Also I like how London is becoming less of a "token female sidekick" and more of an integral part of Corbin's plans. But then again looking back we always knew this was going to happen with how you wrote about her when Corbin first met her. That and the fact she is a red-head which any man knows are the most firey of the lot!!

Keep up the good work!
Faithfully
