First, let me just wish you all a Merry Christmas.
Yes, that’s us. And yes, this is the picture that’s on our Christmas card. Explanation: Aurora put me in charge. 
It’s been a while since I posted anything. I think I need to repent of that. However, in my defense, I’ve been busy. Rather than writing, here’s what I’ve been doing:
- Watching TV. I’m sorry. Human Target is back on. This is the lamest of my excuses.
- Building a couple of Web Apps. One was in conjunction with my real job. (WorkMelon.com) One was because of another website that I sold. (www.SixItems.com) I’ve also started a third (and last for now) app that is to help writers promote their work. I’m pretty stoked about the whole thing. Watch this space for more about that project.
- Redesigning my side business website. (www.BabyKatieMedia.com) I’m still not ecstatic about it, but it’s much better than it was.
- Planning/outlining my next novel(s).
- Tearing out a fireplace/chimney from my house. Two stories of brick to tear down and remove from the house. One big hole in the roof that needed to be patched. Trip after trip to the dump. Holes in ceilings and floor to be patched. This project is still way more work than it sounds.
That being said, I’ve got a chapter for Friday pretty much ready to go.
